Gemma, dicta est in qua glaucum cingitur albicante colore, ut in caprarum oculis. Sicut in gemma, quae Beli oculus vocabatur, color albicans nigram pupillam ambit: Lycophthalmos vero quatuor colorum est, ex rutilo sanguinea: in medio nigrum candidô cingitur, ut luporum oculi; quibus per omnia similis.
